Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offers the perfect blend of laid-back island charm and convenient access to the magic. With spacious grounds, relaxing waterfront views, and direct access to the Skyliner, it’s a fantastic option for couples looking to unwind or families ready to explore the parks. The resort features a variety of dining options, multiple pools, and a vibrant atmosphere that feels like a true getaway—right in the heart of Walt Disney World.

Resort Theming

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a tropical paradise that’s split into 5 distinct Islands: Jamaica, Trinidad, Aruba, Martinique, and Barbados.

You can find fun filled Caribbean themed activities all over the resort including sandy beaches, relaxing hammocks, beautiful tropical florals, and an island playground right in the middle of it all! One thing to note is that this resort is very spread out. Allow us to help you make a request for the right location for your family in order to make the most of your time at Caribbean Beach.

Room Types: 

Caribbean Beach offers 3 different room configurations to fit exactly what you need! All rooms include a Beverage Cooler, Coffee Maker, Hairdryer, Safe, Free Wi-Fi, Iron, Ironing Board, & Telephone. 

Standard Room; This room is setup with 2 Queen beds and is perfect to sleep 2-4 people.

King Room; This room is setup with 1 King Bed and is ideal for 2 adults or 2 adults & an infant! (Did you know Disney offers roll away cribs or pack n plays!?) 

5th Sleeper; This room is setup with 2 Queen Beds and 1 Child Size Pull-Down Bed OR 1 Queen Bed, 1 Queen Pull-Down Bed, & 1 Child Size Pull-Down Bed. You can sleep up to 5 in this room so it’s perfect for families with 3 kiddos. 

Resort Facts: Dining Options, Pools, Transportation

Dining: 

This resort has some delicious dining options so let’s dive right in! 

Sebastian’s Bistro: This is a great spot to grab a family style dinner with a taste of the Caribbean. Not all moderate resorts have their own table service restaurant, so this is definitely a bonus! You’ll start with delicious buttery pull apart rolls, feast on an array of tropical main dishes, and finish your meal with house-made coconut pineapple bread pudding! YUM!  

Centertown Market: You can drop into this centrally located spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack! This quick service location offers everything from themed breakfast dishes like Mickey waffles to exotic bites like Arroz Mamposteao to Disney classics like Chicken Tenders. There’s also a special spot here to grab fresh specialty coffees like a cappuccino or Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican!

Banana Cabana: This walk-up bar offers casual dining and drinks in a tropical atmosphere. A few of the tasty menu options include Pina Coladas, non-alcoholic specialties, and yummy bites like a banana cabana burger or Jamaican jerk chicken wings. 

Spyglass Grill: This poolside grill offers convenience with a walk up window where you can grab breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack. Looking for a burger, ice cream, or some Mojo pork tacos? Look no further than Spyglass Grill! (This is also a great spot to refill your resort mugs while enjoying the pool!) 

 Pools: 

Caribbean Beach’s main Spanish Citadel themed pool is located right outside of Old Port Royale and boasts 2 Water Slides, Water Cannons, and a relaxing spa that seats 12. Kids under 48” will have a blast at the shipwreck play area that offers a dumping barrel and 3 separate smaller water slides. 

There are smaller pools located across property within each of the themed islands where you can relax and soak up the sun without venturing far. 

Transportation: 

A huge bonus of staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is the transportation. You’ll have access to Disney’s Skyliner where you’ll take to the skies to be whisked away towards EPCOT and Hollywood Studios! Hopping back for a midday break to freshen up before dinner has never been more convenient.

You can also find convenient bus transportation at Old Port Royale for Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs.

 Resort Amenities:

When choosing the right resort for your Walt Disney World stay, it’s important to consider the unique activities and amenities each one offers. I like to pick a few experiences I know my kids will enjoy to make the most of our downtime.

Caribbean Beach is a great option for families, offering a variety of extra entertainment and activities, including:

• Caribbean Cay Playground

• Roasting Marshmallows by a Campfire

• Movies Under the Stars on Caribbean Cay Island on select nights

• Guided Fishing Excursion on Caribbean Cay Island

• Volleyball

• Crafts & Activities (additional fee)

• Jogging Trail

Our personal favorite is the Caribbean Cay playground, it’s a great shady spot in the late afternoon with a beach nearby and plenty of relaxing chairs for parents to watch their littles!

You love the convenience of multiple transportation options, the relaxing feel of the Caribbean, and are looking for delicious meals right on your resort property. Caribbean Beach is the perfect getaway to be able to relax and unwind with your family while still being close to all Walt Disney World has to offer. Access to the Skyliner is a definite win for families that love to travel in the sky!
